1. How to request deletion
To request deletion of your Morton QRef account and its associated data, send an email to admin@morton.coffee with the subject "Delete my account".
- Write from the email address associated with your account. This is how we verify the request comes from you.
- State explicitly that you want your account and associated data deleted.
- You do not need to give a reason.
We confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming your identity. You will receive an email when it is done.
Support hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (UTC−5).
2. What is deleted
When your account is deleted, the following is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your name.
- Your email address.
- Your account identifier.
- Your profile photo, if you uploaded one.
- Your assistant conversation history.
Deletion is permanent. Once completed, the account cannot be recovered and a new one must be created to use the app again.
3. What stays on your device
Some data never reaches our servers, so we cannot delete it for you. It lives only on your phone and disappears when you uninstall the app:
- Reminders, stored in a local database on the device.
- Clinical values you entered into forms, which are calculated locally and never transmitted.
Entries the app added to your device calendar belong to that calendar, not to us. Delete them from your calendar app if you want them removed.
4. What we keep, and for how long
We retain only what we are legally required to retain, and only for the applicable statutory period. This may include billing and transaction records associated with a subscription, kept for the period required by tax and accounting law, after which they are deleted.
Retained records are not used for any other purpose, and are not used to re-identify or contact you.
